It’s the Mount Everest of coffees, in terms of sheer scale of hype, influence and, of course, likes. The Mont Blanc coffee – a blend of cold brew and black sugar topped with aerated cream, orange zest and grated nutmeg – has become so iconic, it’s spawned a thousand coffeecats across the country. But now, for one day only, Sydneysiders can get a taste of the real OG.
On Sunday, September 13, Good Measure, the Melbourne cafe that created the dynamo drink, will be taking over Single O Surry Hills for a one-day pop-up as part of its first-ever Australian tour, coinciding with Sydney Bar Week.
From 8am to 3pm, the Good Measure team will be pouring a line-up of its signature beverages at Single O, with Mont Blanc leading the menu. This is built on Single O’s Honduras Marcala coffee, and will be made using the same recipe Good Measure pours daily in Melbourne.

Alongside it, the team will be serving Mandarin Cold Brew (Single O Honduras Marcala and salted Honey Murcott mandarin) and a Momo-Strawberry Iced Tea (Taiwanese oolong, Japanese peach and Victorian strawberry). A limited number of 250g bags of Honduras Marcala, roasted exclusively for Good Measure’s Mont Blanc by Single O, will also be available to purchase on the day.
“Good Measure’s signature Mont Blanc runs on our Honduras Marcala, so it’s great to have [Good Measure founders Max Allison-Brock and Brandon Jo] pouring it here in Sydney, where that coffee is roasted,” says Dan Ceserano, head of retail at Single O. “It’s a great chance for Sydney to taste what Melbourne has been lining up for.”
Good Measure will be coming to Single O on Sunday, September 13, from 8am to 3pm. Find Single O at 60/64 Reservoir St, Surry Hills.
