Teen stabbed multiple times before running into a school in Blacktown for help

A teenage girl has been stabbed multiple times after a brawl involving about half a dozen people in Sydney’s west, according to NSW Police.

The 17-year-old ran into the grounds of a nearby school after she was injured and sought help.

Police say she is not believed to have any connection to the school.

Emergency services were called to Lancaster Street in Blacktown at about 2.30pm on Friday after reports of a fight.

Paramedics treated the girl at the scene before taking her to Westmead Hospital.

She remains in a stable condition.

Police say the other people involved had left before emergency services arrived.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command have since established a crime scene at the location.

Detectives are also investigating a car which may have been connected to the incident.

The vehicle was last seen travelling north along Lancaster Street shortly after the brawl.

Police have not released details about what sparked the fight or identified any of the other people involved.

Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the brawl or captured the incident on dashcam or mobile phone footage.
