The Sydney Swans have issued a response amid rumours circulating about suspended star Nick Blakey.
The futures of the five players stood down by the Swans have been the subject of speculation in recent weeks.

Blakey in particular has attracted interest from a host of AFL clubs, with the defender reportedly wanting out.
St Kilda have emerged as a potential trade option for the 26-year-old, who is said to be unhappy at his treatment by the club.
“Nick Blakey is a player that St Kilda has asked the question of,” said Tom Morris on Channel 7’s The Agenda Setters.
“There are other clubs that have asked the question of Nick Blakey as well, obviously with no formal commitment.
“We don’t even know if he’s going to be playing AFL at all next year, pending what is going on in the legal world.
“But there will be some interest for these (suspended) players.”
Morris also revealed the Swans have responded to rumours by issuing a hands off warning, informing their rivals that none of the suspended players are available for trade.
The Swans are still awaiting the outcome of a police investigation into the incident at the Pullman Hotel in Melbourne.
All five Swans players have strenuously denied any criminal wrongdoing, and no charges have been laid over the alleged assault, with Riley Bice no longer a person of interest.
News.com.au is not suggesting any of the men in the room engaged in the conduct alleged, only that it has been alleged.
Last week Swans midfielder James Rowbottom, who lives with Blakey, said he had not spoken with his roommate about the specifics of his situation amid reports he wanted to leave the club at the end of the season.
It has been claimed Blakey’s relationship with the club has deteriorated, with both parties understood to have become frustrated with one another since the events in Melbourne.
