The Queensland government holds the hosting rights for Magic Round until the end of 2027, which has been held at Suncorp Stadium every year since its inception in 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The widely-popular weekend has drawn interest from prospective bidders trying to poach the hosting rights moving forward. It reportedly provided a $41 million boost to the Queensland economy last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cLock it in to 2032. Magic Round is staying in Queensland &#8211; exactly where it belongs,\u201d Crisafulli told The Courier Mail. \u201cI told Queenslanders we would stare down those other states and get this deal done and now Magic Round is secured for Queensland for the next six years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt\u2019s a really big deal. When Queenslanders and footy come together magic happens and that\u2019s exactly what a six-year deal represents for our state. We have always had a great relationship with the Queensland government. What we liked about the Premier is that he is looking big picture.
