Credit: Moon&#8217;s Mission<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Ms Doyle and her animal rescue <a class=\"css-445i33-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.perthnow.com.au\/news\/offbeat\/vet-shares-wholesome-update-on-perth-cavoodle-puppy-born-with-no-butthole-tooshie-c-19472290\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">made headlines back in 2025<\/a> over the medical journey of Tooshie, a cavoodle in her care who was similarly surrendered due to his lack of butthole.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cTooshie had a massive, massive journey \u2014 enemas twice a day for 270 days, plus five surgeries \u2014 and <a class=\"css-445i33-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.perthnow.com.au\/news\/animals\/tooshie-extraordinary-update-for-perth-cavoodle-puppy-born-without-a-bumhole-c-21997548\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">I had just gotten my life back<\/a>, I wasn\u2019t sure about doing it again,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cAn hour later, however, I started to feel bad . . . who else will do it, be able to raise the money and give Booty the chance she needs?<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cThe chances of this happening twice (are) pretty rare . . . but it did, so I made the call to help her.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Ms Doyle quickly organised a surrender of the six-week-old into her custody and began making arrangements for Booty to receive necessary medical care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">In addition to the atresia ani, veterinarians also diagnosed Booty with a rectovaginal fistula \u2014 a tunnel that causes her faeces to pass through her vulva instead of her anus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Ms Doyle took to social media to share Booty\u2019s story with fellow animal lovers across WA, in addition to a <a class=\"css-445i33-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-me-save-this-puppys-life-h9de3?attribution_id=sl:68b89610-a7ca-452e-8cdf-c5897db634d5&amp;ts=1777270540&amp;utm_campaign=natman_sharesheet_dash&amp;utm_medium=customer&amp;utm_source=copy_link\">GoFundMe<\/a> for her ongoing medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The fundraiser and social media post quickly gained attention, with more than $10,000 donated to the six-week-old\u2019s care in less than two days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">She also noticed the \u2018surreal\u2019 timing of Booty\u2019s arrival at Moon\u2019s Mission, which came right in time for Tooshie\u2019s first birthday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cIt honestly feels surreal that almost exactly one year later, another poodle with this condition has landed in our care . . .
