(ABC News: Sacha Payne)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Palestinian-Australian surgeon Dr Bushra Othman addressed the crowd assembled on the steps of the library.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Seventy-eight years ago, Palestinian people were driven from their homes carrying keys they believed they would soon use again,&#8221;  Dr Otham said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;Those keys became heirlooms, those homes became memories.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Senator Lydia Thorpe told the rally Aboriginal Australians stood with the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;I wish these anniversaries could be events of healing.
