American actress Kate Walsh has documented a bizarre sighting she encountered while driving on a rural road in Australia.<\/p>\n

The Greys Anatomy star is far from a stranger to our shores, having called Perth home since COVID and residing in City Beach with her WA-based husband Andrew Nixon.<\/p>\n

However Walsh, 58, admitted there are things about her adopted homeland that continue to surprise her.<\/p>\n

Posting a series of videos to her Instagram story on Wednesday, the actress \u2014 dressed casually in a black hoodie \u2014 shared a movie-like experience that occurred off the beaten path.<\/p>\n

\u201cOften in the country whilst driving in Australia you get stuck behind oversized vehicles,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen one that is this oversized…. it was like, \u2018Is that a movie, is that like a moving story, is that a play on a truck, is it a Dr Seuss book come to life?\u201d<\/p>\n

Conceding her imagination may have got the better of her, Walsh added: \u201cI hope you\u2019re as amused by it as I was.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Emily in Paris star then cut to the moving oversized vehicle in question, which sprawled across two driving lanes and appeared to have arched and suspended its unused tyres in the air while free of cargo.<\/p>\n

Walsh accompanied the footage with circus-like music to emphasise the vehicle\u2019s odd shape, and its novelty to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say the gentleman in the oversized vehicle was very kind. He kindly pulled over and let me pass,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut boy, it was a treat… I was like, \u2018Is this where the timeline split, am I driving into the matrix, like the other dimension?\u201d<\/p>\n

A regular on Perth\u2019s social scene, Walsh is often spotted at Perth theatre and arts events, and appeared at Perth\u2019s Sail GP spectacle in January.<\/p>\n
