There\u2019s something about a warm bowl of pasta in the cooler months that just hits the spot. This May, there\u2019s a northern suburbs hotspot with just the thing to warm you up. Para Hills Community Club (PHCC) has introduced a brand-new Pasta Month designed to bring people together over bowls of comfort, and it\u2019s one you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n

More than just a seasonal special, PHCC\u2019s latest campaign is designed as a full dining experience, built around a simple but crowd-pleasing concept to build your own pasta.<\/p>\n

Throughout the month of May, locals can customise their dish from start to finish, choosing their preferred pasta, sauce, protein and extras, then finishing it off with optional toppings and add-ons. So if you find yourself in the mood for something rich and creamy one night or light and tomato-based another, it\u2019s designed to suit whatever you\u2019re craving on the day.<\/p>\n

The idea came from a desire to offer something a little different, something that felt exciting, but still approachable. \u201cWith the cost of living at the moment, we know people are being more mindful about dining out,\u201d shared Jasmine Grazia, Marketing Manager at PHCC. \u201cSo instead of just another promotion, we wanted to create an experience that felt worth leaving the house for. Something comforting, affordable, and genuinely enjoyable.<\/p>\n

\u201cPasta just made sense. It\u2019s nostalgic, it\u2019s versatile, and it\u2019s something everyone loves. From there, the idea grew into a full campaign, something a bit more creative, a bit more \u2018outside the box\u2019 for us, and something we hadn\u2019t done at the club before.\u201d<\/p>\n

That sense of flexibility is what sets this campaign apart. Instead of ordering a fixed dish, diners can create something completely their own and come back again to try something totally different.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuests start by choosing their pasta, then their sauce, and then any extras they feel like adding on. It\u2019s completely customisable, so you can keep it classic or build something a bit more indulgent depending on your mood,\u201d shared Jasmine. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re also pairing it with a curated wine option, a red, white, or sparkling, designed to complement the dishes and make it feel like a full dining experience, not just a meal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diners start by choosing their base, from classic spaghetti and sauce-catching penne to spiral fusilli or pillowy-soft gnocchi that melts in your mouth. From there, pick your perfect pairing with sauces ranging from a traditional pomodoro with garlic and herbs to a rich beef bolognese, fresh basil pesto, or a creamy alfredo packed with parmesan. To finish, it\u2019s all about the extras, with toppings like grated parmesan, fresh mozzarella, crispy bacon and roasted veggies letting you elevate your bowl exactly how you like it.<\/p>\n

Jasmine says there\u2019s already a bit of friendly debate among staff about the best combinations. Gnocchi with a creamy sauce is a clear favourite for those looking for something comforting, while others are backing a more classic pappardelle with puttanesca for something bold and punchy. \u201cWe\u2019re definitely split, creamy vs tomato, which I think just proves there\u2019s something for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The experience isn\u2019t just about the pasta, though. The experience is designed to feel like a full night out, with curated wine pairings available to match your creation, plus a rotating lineup of staff picks, featured combinations and social media polls that invite diners to weigh in on the ultimate pasta showdown, cream vs tomato.<\/p>\n
