\nmost consequential win to date when he meets former welterweight
\nchampion Jack
\nDella Maddalena<\/a> in the
\nUFC Fight Night 275<\/a> main event on Saturday at RAC Arena in
\nPerth, Australia. Prates enters the cage as a slight betting
\nfavorite. As such, he appears to have several avenues to victory
\nahead of his third headlining assignment with the company. A look
\nat three reasons why Prates beats Della Maddalena in the UFC\u2019s
\nfirst trip to the land Down Under in almost three months:<\/p>\n

\nPrates possesses the kind of fast-twitch athleticism that cannot be
\ntaught and provides him with an edge against a wide swath of
\nwelterweights. It has allowed him to get the jump in many of his
\nappearances, especially those who, like Della Maddalena, do their

\nNightmare\u201d inside the Octagon. The Irishman crowded Prates in the
\nclinch and stifled his offense with a total of 19 takedown attempts

\nimportantly, he prevented the ONE

\nBrazilian boasts 21 finishes among his 23 professional victories,

\nopponents inside one round. All six of his UFC wins\u2014Leon
\nEdwards<\/a>, Geoff Neal<\/a>,
