Brendan Pang, Kirsten Tibballs, Nat Thaipun, Jess Liemantara and more top culinary talent will be at the Good Food & Wine Show this weekend.<\/p>\n
Since 2001, the Good Food & Wine Show<\/a> has been one of the best places to learn about new brands in the food and beverage industry, and to find out what your old favourites are up to.\u00a0<\/p>\n This year\u2019s show runs from Friday May 29 to Sunday May 31 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Producers and brands including Bippi, Blackjack Wines, Fancy Hank\u2019s, Lard Ass Butter, Long Paddock Cheese and Pie Thief will all be there.<\/p>\n New this year is Bakers Alley, curated by chocolatier and cookbook author Kirsten Tibballs<\/a>. Ten independent bakeries will each offer three items, including some exclusive to the show. Special bakes include slices of pistachio and cherry tart from Gareth Whitton\u2019s Tarts Anon<\/a>; strawberry matcha scrolls from Simply Mike\u2019s<\/a>; lemon and herb chicken croissants from Drom<\/a>; and a fennel jam, stracciatella and jamon croissant wheel from Calle<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The show will also debut Cooking School<\/a>, a series of intimate masterclasses capped at 40 guests with tickets starting at $49 per person.
