A controversial Australian influencer known in the online \u201clooksmaxxer\u201d community as Androgenic has been removed from a flight in Thailand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brisbane-based influencer Ronan Androgenic, 25, posted a video on Wednesday showing two Jetstar staff members telling him to leave the aircraft before take-off.<\/p>\n

In the TikTok video, which has amassed more than 900,000 views, the influencer appears heavily bandaged around his jaw and chin while speaking to airline staff from his seat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m getting kicked off my flight right now apparently because I didn\u2019t put my medication in my carry-on bag,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

It is understood Androgenic had undergone cosmetic surgery in Thailand five days earlier.<\/p>\n

Jetstar staff told him they were concerned he appeared drowsy and medically unwell following the procedures.<\/p>\n

One staff member can be heard telling him: \u201cYour face is very ill.\u201d<\/p>\n

Androgenic repeatedly questioned why he was being removed from the flight, insisting he was fit to travel and had been medically cleared by his doctor.<\/p>\n

A staff member replied that he had not initially mentioned the medical clearance and appeared drowsy when the crew first approached him.<\/p>\n

Androgenic responded that he was simply tired and trying to sleep.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m trying to go to sleep on the flight, is that not f**king normal?\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One crew member then warned the influencer his behaviour had become disruptive.<\/p>\n

After expressing frustration over the decision, Androgenic again said he had provided documentation at the airport confirming he was medically cleared to fly.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, the doctor confirmed, but we can check your condition as well,\u201d a staff member replied.<\/p>\n

A male flight attendant again expressed concern about his appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re swelling right now, your eyes. You are very like, not condition to go. Your face is totally, like, very ill,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Androgenic eventually gathered his belongings and left the aircraft.<\/p>\n

Jetstar said its crew are trained to assess whether customers appear fit to fly at the time of boarding, and if staff are not confident a passenger is well enough to travel, they may refuse boarding.<\/p>\n

The airline also said it does not tolerate abusive behaviour or language directed at crew under any circumstances.<\/p>\n
