<\/p>\nA Mount Gambier man has been granted bail after he was allegedly nude while in businesses and on a busy main road three times in the past week. \u00a0<\/p>\n
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was arrested on Wednesday night and charged with four counts of indecent behaviour.<\/p>\n
Three of the counts relate to incidents in the past week, when the man was allegedly seen at a bakery and fast-food restaurant in Mount Gambier, and on Jubilee Highway East, while not wearing any clothes.<\/p>\n
The other count is related to an alleged incident at Surfers Way Beach at Port MacDonnell in December.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The man was granted bail and will appear in court again in June.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police searching for information<\/p>\n
Speaking to ABC South East SA Breakfast program, Limestone Coast Local Service Area officer in charge Superintendent Trent Cox said the alleged incidents were “bizarre”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Nobody goes into the workplace expecting to be confronted by somebody’s behaviour, whatever the person’s justification is,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Our retail industry is quite prevalent with young workers, particularly, just finding their feet in the world of employment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“To be exposed to that, no pun intended, is shocking for them.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Superintendent Cox said police were continuing their investigation and called for anyone with information to contact them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“We’re also aware that the alleged offender in this is believed to have made calls across a number of days prior to yesterday’s events, sort of floating the idea of coming in and testing the waters about whether it would be acceptable,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
