(891 ABC Adelaide)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The Bureau of Meteorology is warning of the potential for flooding in low-lying coastal areas when tides rise this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">It has issued a coastal hazard warning for abnormally high tides for all of the state&#8217;s coastline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">A severe weather warning is in place for dangerous winds of up to 90 kilometres per hour in the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Flinders Ranges<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">There is a gale wind warning for the central coast, the south central coast, Investigator Strait and the upper South East coast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">SES chief of staff Robert Charlton said people should prepare for rapidly changing conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;So, certainly the warning area is likely to extend over the next 12 hours into Wednesday morning, so perhaps, you know, 12 to 24 hours,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Flooding over a road with a supermarket\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/814b3a094768a563b1a408528edc0efa.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Flooding on Goodwood Road in Colonel Light Gardens, in Adelaide&#8217;s inner south.
