Former Hi-5 star Charli Robinson has sold her Sydney investment apartment for a record $2.5m after a very \u201cnervous\u201d auction.<\/p>\n
The TV presenter and former radio host has owned the one-bedroom Coogee unit in the landmark Coogee Waters building since 2012.<\/p>\n
It hit the market last month with a short marketing campaign before going under the hammer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m proud to say we achieved a new suburb record for Coogee for a one bedroom at $2.5m,\u201d said Ms Robinson, who has two daughters with her racing car driver partner Liam Talbot.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy goodness I was nervous given all the major headlines that morning of properties getting passed in at auction and prices plummeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cLiam held my hand the whole way as we watched from Brissy home via a link from our fabulous auctioneer Emma Brown-Garrett. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt started low and I was nervous but Liam told me wise words \u2018it\u2019s not where you start, it\u2019s where you finish\u2019 and I certainly had a smile at the finish.\u201d<\/p>\n
