{"id":31496,"date":"2026-06-15T05:25:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T05:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/31496\/"},"modified":"2026-06-15T05:25:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T05:25:12","slug":"princess-of-wales-stares-down-anti-monarchy-protesters-who-booed-royal-family-at-trooping-the-colour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/31496\/","title":{"rendered":"Princess of Wales stares down anti-monarchy protesters who booed royal family at Trooping the Colour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Princess of Wales was seen angrily staring down protesters as she travelled in a horse-drawn carriage with her children during the Trooping the Colour parade over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Members of the anti-monarchy group, Republic, jeered as Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis travelled down The Mall during the procession for King Charles\u2019 official birthday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">WATCH THE FOOTAGE IN THE VIDEO PLAYER ABOVE<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Demonstrators were heard chanting \u201cNot my King\u201d while holding up umbrellas that spelt out the words \u2018Stop the Reign\u2019 and images of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The group have made themselves known at dozens of royal events over the years, including the Commonwealth Day service in March, and Charles\u2019 coronation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">In a video shared on social media, Kate looked less than impressed with the protestors as the carriage passed by.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">She was seen briefly staring at the campaigners before turning to her children and smiling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">King Charles and Queen Camilla, led the carriage procession to Horse Guards parade, while Princess Kate and her children followed closely behind.
