{"id":32278,"date":"2026-06-16T07:45:05","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T07:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/32278\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T07:45:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T07:45:05","slug":"brisbane-to-bundaberg-offshore-yacht-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/32278\/","title":{"rendered":"Brisbane to Bundaberg Offshore Yacht Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rqys.com.au\/?utm_source=mysailing&amp;utm_medium=news&amp;utm_campaign=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron<\/a>\u2019s Brisbane to Bundaberg Offshore Yacht Race is officially set to launch this Thursday 18 June, bringing together sailors, spectators, tourism leaders, and the Bundaberg community for an exciting new offshore sailing event connecting Brisbane to the Bundaberg coastline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proudly supported by Major Partners Pacific Tug and Bundaberg Port Marina and broadcast by radio Hitz93.9 in Bundaberg, the race will commence from the iconic Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Brisbane, with yachts making the 250-nautical-mile journey north to Burnett Heads. Boats are expected to begin arriving into Bundaberg from Friday 19 June through to Saturday 20 June, with the community encouraged to head to the foreshore to witness the fleet crossing the finish line and take part in the festivities at Bundaberg Port Marina on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sailors will be welcomed into port with drinks and fresh Bundy Burgers, while live music kicks off from 2:00pm, setting the tone for a relaxed coastal afternoon by the marina.
