Brisbane coach Chris Fagan has taken aim at the person that leaked \u201cprivate information\u201d of the club\u2019s opposition analysis of Essendon players<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The images of a whiteboard inside Brisbane\u2019s inner sanctum are believed to have been leaked by someone that had access to the rooms at an Auskick clinic.<\/p>\n

It showed strengths and weaknesses of Bombers players including some brutal character-based assessments such as \u2018selfish\u2019 and \u2018low confidence\u2019.<\/p>\n

It also appeared to reference ex-Lion Jaxon Prior\u2019s girlfriend, model Bronte Thompson, with \u2018Bronte\u2019 listed as the defender\u2019s strength.<\/p>\n

But Fagan suggested it was \u201cunfair\u201d to scrutinise the Lions over the leaking of \u201cinternal\u201d information and a tool they\u2019d been using for nine years after drawing inspiration from former Australian rugby union coach Eddie Jones <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to comment about what was written on that whiteboard,\u201d the Lions coach told reporters after his side\u2019s 64-point win over Essendon<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cFrom our perspective, it\u2019s private information. Somebody illegally took photos of information that was on a whiteboard and decided to make a hero of themselves and put it out in the public domain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI reckon it\u2019s a little unfair when it\u2019s your workplace and it\u2019s what you do every day. It\u2019s information we keep internal and we\u2019ve been doing it for nine years \u2014 writing strengths and vulnerabilities of opposition players up on a whiteboard <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to comment on isolated things that were written on it. I can promise you though that nothing was written up there that had anything sinister in mind or degrading in mind at all. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where I\u2019ll stay with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fagan said he\u2019d \u201chad a bit of a laugh and joke\u201d with Prior after the game, suggesting the ex-Lion had no issues with the situation. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happy for you to go and ask Jaxon what he thinks,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe players all know him and we know his partner as well. There was nothing bad intended at all with that comment. Zero. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s disappointing we\u2019re sitting in here talking about this after a game of football today, honest to goodness, private information. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys wouldn\u2019t even know about it if that guy hadn\u2019t of done what he did.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dual premiership coach admitted he\u2019d now reconsider whether they should invite external people into the club. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very disappointing. We go out of our way to bring the community into our football club and use our facilities. It makes you feel like not bringing the community in, just keeping it exclusive as an elite performance centre,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt staggered me when I heard about that, I thought that\u2019s really disappointing. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat man was there with his children, using our facility, and he decides to do that because he\u2019s an Essendon supporter and be a hero. I think that\u2019s really disappointing.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I tell you what, we\u2019ll keep bringing the community in, because we\u2019re a good footy club and that\u2019s how we go about things. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut when things like that happen you sort of go: \u2018Should we, or shouldn\u2019t we?\u2018<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s poor behaviour on behalf of that person that came into the club and did it. It shouldn\u2019t be out there in the public domain, because that was never the intention of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Essendon coach Brad Scott was largely unfazed by it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey do that for every team, I imagine. It\u2019s a problem for them to deal with, not us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t want that coming out of our building. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a tough game and sometimes a psychological game.
