Following the 13-fight event in Perth, Australia, the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> announced its performance bonus
\nwinners. To the surprise of no one, main event winner Carlos
\nPrates<\/a> took home a well-deserved extra $100,000 for his
\n
\nTKO stoppage win<\/a> over Jack
\nDella Maddalena<\/a>. The finish capped off a total one-sided
\nbeatdown of the former UFC champion, as Prates’ leg kicks left the
\nAussie heavily damaged. “The Nightmare” lived up to his nickname
\nand now looks forward to the title picture as a result.<\/p>\n

\nQuillan
\nSalkilld<\/a> received the second performance of the night bonus for
\nhis
\nfirst-round smashing<\/a> of veteran lightweight Beneil
\nDariush<\/a>. The lightweight prospect proved he’s the real deal
\nwith the win, which was the biggest of his career so far. Just 26,
\nSalkilld (12-1) is one of the most exciting young fighters at 155
\nand makes for an interesting addition to the current list of
\ncontenders<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the fight of the night award went to heavyweights
\nBrando
\nPericic<\/a> and Shamil
\nGaziev<\/a>. The duo’s wild brawl somehow made it to the second
\nround, which saw Pericic (7-1) finally put away Gaziev (14-3) with
\na clubbing right hand. The chin of Gaziev’s was quite impressive,
\nbut the punching power of Pericic proved even more noteworthy, and
\nthe memorable finish to a stellar fight secured both men an extra
