Trying Times also made the top 40 in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn his first self-released album, the producer and songwriter draws from pop music and classic R&amp;B for a pleasantly all-over-the-place set about love and existential dread,\u201d Pitchfork\u2018s review noted of the album.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not Blake\u2019s most immediate album, and probably not his most consistent.
