(ABC News: Che Chorley)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Virgin Australia chief marketing and customer operations officer Libby Minogue said the addition of Pets in Cabin services in Adelaide reflected the successful rollout of the program across the airline&#8217;s network.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;Since launching Pets in Cabin services, we&#8217;ve welcomed almost 1,500 pets on board and have continued to receive positive feedback from customers across our network,&#8221; Ms Minogue said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;Importantly, 90 per cent of travellers without pets who have travelled on a Pets in Cabin service reported they were unaware a pet was on board, demonstrating how seamlessly the program has been integrated into the travel experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;The introduction of the service in Adelaide is another positive step forward as we continue to provide more Australians with the opportunity to travel alongside their pets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A small dog in a carrier\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/5c16cc6326a17cd6ad95258ff1a61531.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">There are several rules around the types of dogs that can travel on board. (ABC News: Che Chorley)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Other passengers on the flight that they ABC spoke to were not concerned about sharing their plane with small animals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;I think it&#8217;s a good thing to do,&#8221; entertainer Pauly J said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;They do it overseas so why not do it here in Australia?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;Everyone loves their pets.
