time,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Three events linked to the cuttlefish disappearing<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Staff at the Whyalla Dive Shop and Cutty Tours are less hopeful \u2013 on Friday, they declared the season had been &#8220;cancelled&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">And they believe the remaining animals should be left alone, so they can complete their breeding cycle without interference from human activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Whyalla Dive Shop owner Manny Katz said his crews have only spotted a couple of dozen cuttlefish, and it&#8217;s clearly the &#8220;smallest population by this time of the year&#8221; because he fears there still won&#8217;t be enough food for them to eat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;If baseline food species get wiped out, then it trickles up,&#8221;
