The world-class musical theatre offerings continue at Adelaide Festival Centre with\u00a0Heathers the Musical,\u00a0ANASTASIA The Broadway Musical, and\u00a0The Book of Mormon\u00a0still to come this year.<\/p>\n

Next up, is the wickedly funny and deliciously dark\u00a0Heathers the Musical<\/a> at Her Majesty\u2019s Theatre from Thursday 16 July. Direct from London and New York, Heathers the Musical\u00a0is a cult classic set to a killer soundtrack, based on the iconic movie starring\u00a0Winona Ryder\u00a0and\u00a0Christian Slater.<\/p>\n

From Sunday 2 August at the Festival Theatre, patrons can look forward to the dazzling adventure filled romance ANASTASIA The Broadway Musical<\/a>, inspired by the beloved film. By a Tony Award-winning creative team,\u00a0ANASTASIA\u00a0stars\u00a0Georgina Hopson,\u00a0Robert Tripolino,\u00a0Joshua Robson,\u00a0Rodney Dobson,\u00a0Rhonda Burchmore\u00a0and\u00a0Nancye Hayes\u00a0AM.<\/p>\n

In December, the Tony, Olivier, and Grammy award-winning production\u00a0The Book of Mormon<\/a> returns to the Festival Theatre. Called \u201cthe best musical of this century\u201d by The New York Times,\u00a0The Book of Mormon\u00a0has set house records at 27 theatres across the US, and broken box office records for the highest single day of sales in London\u2019s West End history.<\/p>\n

The Australian premiere season in 2017 broke the record for the highest selling on-sale period of any production in Melbourne\u2019s Princess Theatre\u2019s 159-year history and also won the Helpmann Award for Best Musical.<\/p>\n
