A young boy has died in hospital four days after a horrific school holiday crash that left two others injured south of Brisbane<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The six-year-old boy was a passenger in a Nissan Qashqai when it collided with a Subaru Impreza at the intersection of Mount Lindsey Hwy and Gould Hill Rd in Gleneagle about 2.14pm on Monday.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and treated the boy for life-threatening injuries before he was airlifted to hospital where he died on Friday. <\/p>\n

The driver of the Nissan, a 56-year-old Gleneagle<\/a> woman, and a second passenger, a 13-year-old girl, sustained serious injuries and were also transported to hospital.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Subaru, a 52-year-old Beaudesert man, did not sustain any physical injuries. <\/p>\n

Anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision is asked to contact police. <\/p>\n

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.<\/p>\n
