{"id":49360,"date":"2026-07-13T03:37:14","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T03:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/49360\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T03:37:14","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T03:37:14","slug":"night-racing-headlines-sydney-hi-tec-oils-super-series-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/49360\/","title":{"rendered":"Night racing headlines Sydney Hi-Tec Oils Super Series schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/DSC02112-2025-6-2-3-07-59-e1783910153525.webp\" alt=\"Night racing headlines Sydney Super Series schedule\"\/><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Hi-Tec Oils Super Series returns to Sydney Motorsport Park with racing under lights for Round 3.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/t.cfjump.com\/92797\/b\/204801\" rel=\"nofollow sponsored noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/204801.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><br \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The series returns to a two-day format for the Sydney Sunset Showdown, with racing condensed to Friday and Saturday from the more recent three-day events.<\/p>\n<p>Eight categories will hit the track across the event, with the TA2 Muscle Car Series headlining alongside a revamped Australian Endurance Championship (AEC).<\/p>\n<p>TA2 will race four times, twice each in the twilight and with the complete effect of SMP\u2019s lights.<\/p>\n<p>AEC enjoyed a successful debut of its new format at Queensland Raceway, with a strong mix of production cars and GT4-spec machinery on track.<\/p>\n<p>Its weekend will culminate in a three-hour enduro in the middle of Saturday, with 19 cars expected to compete.<\/p>\n<p>The AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship returns for its fourth round, where young chargers Oli Wickham, Seth Burchartz and Isaac Demellweek will continue a close championship battle.<\/p>\n<p>Legend Cars Australia, the Australian IRC Racing Series, and Formula RX8 return as the remaining Hi-Tec Oils Super Series regulars.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the undercard is the Australian Drivers\u2019 Championship, and a newcomer to the series in Sports Compact.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.com\/motorsport-news-aasa-hi-tec-oils-super-series-sydney-motorsport-park-victorian-sports-compact-comments-reaction\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Victorian state-based category will make its debut appearance at Sydney Motorsport Park.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On-track action will begin at 8:30am AEST on Friday and 8:45am on Saturday, continuing through to 10:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>TV times are yet to be confirmed, however the broadcast will feature a mix of free-to-air and pay TV, plus live streams on the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>The full Sydney Sunset Showdown track schedule can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/65af527c795dc37dba3b94ac\/t\/6a4f31e068dd14722d666b1b\/1783575008258\/HTOSS+2026+-+RD3+SMP+Sydney+Schedule+v5.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Hi-Tec Oils Super Series returns to Sydney Motorsport Park with racing under lights for Round 3.
