Tough one for Brisbane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That, in a nutshell, would sum up the Tapt Media scorecard in the latest radio ratings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3AW\u2019s Goliath-like Breakfast team of Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft are back over a 20.0 share. 2GB\u2019s Ben Fordham is still the clear #1 in Sydney Breakfast, just shy of a 15.0 share. But Brisbane\u2019s 4BC remains the Tapt Media problem child \u2013 losing both TSL and cume.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his post-<a href=\"https:\/\/radiotoday.com.au\/radio-ratings-survey-4\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GfK Survey 4 <\/a>interview with Radioinfo\u2019s Steve Ahern, Tapt Media\u2019s National Head of Content Greg Byrnes says overall, the latest numbers show consistency and dominance in key shifts and markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And he says Tapt Media\u2019s streaming numbers are remarkable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe audience is finding this new way of engaging.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further monetising YouTube is part of Tapt Media\u2019s wider digital focus:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBecause that\u2019s where the opportunity lies,\u201d says Byrnes. \u201cMaintaining our strength and our base, but also looking at new avenues (and) new revenue streams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe all need to grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we move towards the pointy end of the AFL and NRL season, Byrnes says Tapt Media\u2019s in-sync listening \u2013 where footy fans sync up radio calls with their TV \u2013 is also proving popular.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s such a wonderful way to engage with our live sport content.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Radio Ratings July 14, 2026 Tapt Media&#8217;s Greg Byrnes.
