Image: Supplied<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.cfjump.com\/92797\/b\/287093\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" rel=\"nofollow sponsored noopener\" onmousedown=\"this.rel=\" nofollow=\"\" sponsored=\"\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; vertical-align: middle;\" alt=\"\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1784012924_436_287093.gif\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Sydney Sunset Showdown\u2019 marks a return to a two-day format from the more common three-day events, held uniquely on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Night racing will be a key spectacle across the event, with both days of racing set to end at 10:30pm AEST.<\/p>\n<p>As per previous Super Series rounds, the broadcast will be split between free-to-air and pay TV, plus live streams on the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Friday\u2019s coverage commences at 2:55pm ahead of TA2 Muscle Car Series qualifying, and continues through to 10:30pm, split between YouTube and SBS\/Kayo.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s broadcast starts at 12:30pm with a four hour YouTube livestream starting with the Australian Endurance Championship three hour enduro.<\/p>\n<p>SBS On Demand, SBS Viceland and Kayo then continue coverage from 5:00-9:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Regular host and commentator Matt Cavanagh returns to anchor the coverage, joined by Dan McCarthy for the majority of on-track action.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, headline category TA2 Muscle Car Series will be called by popular veteran commentator Matt Naulty, joined for the first time by former Supercars full-timer Scott Pye.<\/p>\n<p>Pye joined the Super Series coverage this year splitting pit reporting with commentary for the AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship, a role which he retains alongside the TA2 appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Guest commentators Niko French and Jai Eccles will also return to call the Australian Drivers\u2019 Championship and Legend Cars Australia series respectively, with former Supercars driver Melinda Price providing pit lane coverage.<\/p>\n<p>On-track action commences from 8:30am on Friday and 8:45am Saturday and continues through to 10:30pm each day.<\/p>\n<p>Round 3 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on July 17-18.<\/p>\n<p>Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Sydney Sunset Showdown Broadcast Schedule<\/p>\n<p>Friday July 17<\/p>\n<p>2:55pm \u2013 4:25pm \u2013 YouTube Livestream<br \/>5:00pm \u2013 9:00pm \u2013 SBS Viceland \/ SBS On Demand \/ Kayo Sports<br \/>9:00pm \u2013 10:30pm \u2013 YouTube Livestream<\/p>\n<p>Saturday July 18<\/p>\n<p>12:30pm \u2013 4:30pm \u2013 YouTube Livestream<br \/>5:00pm \u2013 9:00pm \u2013 SBS Viceland \/ SBS On Demand \/ Kayo Sports<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.com\/motorsport-news-aasa-hi-tec-oils-super-series-sydney-motorsport-park-round-3-track-schedule\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Night racing headlines Sydney Super Series schedule<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Broadcast details for Round 3 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series have been confirmed.
