Labor has attacked the phrasing, saying that Australia was \u201cnot a monoculture and it never has been\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n Most recently, One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce clarified the party\u2019s position on monoculture, saying it was not about ethnicity or faith.<\/p>\n \u201cWhether you\u2019re of Vietnamese heritage or Chinese heritage or African heritage, that is not the issue,\u201d he told Sky News Sunday Agenda.<\/p>\n \u201cYou’re multi-ethnicity, you’re multi-religion, there’s a whole range of that. But to be in Australia, you have to come to the point of an Australian culture.\u201d<\/p>\n Ms Hanson has been travelling around the UK in recent weeks<\/a>, meeting with conservative British MPs as well as controversial activist Tommy Robinson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n One Nation continues to dominate among voters aged 50 and above, recording 32 per cent support among those aged 50 and above, compared with 27 per cent for Labor.<\/p>\n The party also retained its commanding position among working-class voters, with 31 per cent support compared with 26 per cent for Labor and 14 per cent for the Coalition.<\/p>\n However, the latest movement suggests some voters, who had shifted towards One Nation, may be reconsidering their position, with the Coalition gaining three points.<\/p>\n Among 2025 Coalition voters, One Nation remains the second choice for a significant number of voters, with 38 per cent now backing Ms Hanson\u2019s party.<\/p>\n That figure is down from when One Nation caught 46 per cent of disaffected Coalition voters<\/a> just two weeks ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n Despite the changes in the primary vote, Labor\u2019s lead remains fragile, with the government still facing challenges among voters concerned about cost of living.<\/p>\n The poll also showed Labor\u2019s support softening among women, with the party\u2019s primary vote falling to 26 per cent among women, while male support was 31 per cent.<\/p>\n The decline in primary vote coincided with a turbulent period for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who was criticised for his X-rated appearance on the Bush Deep podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mr Albanese recorded a -18 per cent net approval rating in the wake of the scandal, an improvement of three points.<\/p>\n His standing among men increased by net nine points to -16 per cent net approval, but women turned cold, falling three points to -19 per cent net approval.<\/p>\n The result follows Mr Albanese engaging in a series of jokes and innuendo, including a \u201cshag, marry, date\u201d segment involving Kylie Minogue.<\/p>\n![\"\u2018I](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/24a5d0de856ef113b543792edb192aca.jpeg\")
