A suspected sex pest burst out from a bush before demanding a dog walker have sex with him in a tunnel, it has been revealed as footage of him running from the scene chased by a pack of dogs was made public.<\/p>\n
Two women, a 67-year-old from Toorak and a 39-year-old from Glen Iris, had been walking their eight dogs along Gardiners Creek at Righetti Oval in Kooyong in Melbourne’s inner-east on Tuesday before a man ambushed them from nearby bushes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Dogs belonging to the women set upon the man and gave chase as he set off on foot with the pursuit captured in widely-shared footage.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
One of the women gave a TV interview following the incident and revealed he had made a disturbing threat.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“He lunged at my friend and grabbed a hold of her neck and upper shoulders,” she told Nine News.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Then he started walking over to me and talking.<\/p>\n
“He was threatening me to get me into the tunnel and he wanted to have sex with me.<\/p>\n
“I was thinking of all the different scenarios that could happen, but I was more trying to jump into action rather than focus on how scared I was.”<\/p>\n
The man then made efforts to pull one of the women towards him, but she managed to push away her assailant.<\/p>\n
The dogs the women were walking then took the lead, turning on the alleged pervert and forcing him to flee into a nearby tunnel beneath the Monash Freeway.<\/p>\n
Footage showed six dogs running after the man as he tripped and stumbled in an attempt to flee the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n
One dog leapt at the man, nipped at his\u00a0leg\u00a0and ripped his pants.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
He could be heard yelling at the dogs in the video but\u00a0ultimately evaded\u00a0capture.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The alleged pervert\u00a0remains\u00a0on the run, despite a major police response to the incident\u00a0involving officers on the ground, the dog squad and in police\u00a0aircraft.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police have described the man as being of African appearance, wearing a black tracksuit with a grey hooded top, along with white socks and sliders and a blue backpack.\u00a0<\/p>\n
