{"id":544,"date":"2026-04-28T19:03:34","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T19:03:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/544\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T19:03:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T19:03:34","slug":"2-sydney-supply-chain-startups-get-serious-on-impact-for-pepsicos-greenhouse-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/544\/","title":{"rendered":"2 Sydney supply chain startups get serious on impact for PepsiCo&#8217;s greenhouse program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two Australian startups are among five enlisted by PepsiCo to turn their ideas into a core part of the global beverage giant\u2019s supply chain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AsiaPacific edition of the PepsiCo Greenhouse Program, now in its fourth year, picked five startups that previously took part, for what it\u2019s calling it impact edition, embedding proven alumni solutions in the company\u2019s operations through commercial pathways, and an expanded partner ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two Sydney startups selected are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adionatech.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Adiona<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcentric.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">X-Centric<\/a>\u00a0, along with Indonesia\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/bali-waste-cycle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bali Waste Cycle<\/a>, China\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiforcetech.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Beijing AIForce Tech<\/a> and Thailand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/takachar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Takachar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adiona has worked with PepsiCo since 2023. The AI-powered logistics optimisation platform improves route planning and fleet efficiency. Early deployments delivered a 19% reduction in fleet distance travelled, with potential to reduce Scope 3 emissions across bottler networks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">X-Centric has worked with PepsiCo since 2024. It\u2019s a digital soil analytics platform enabling more precise soil health measurement, helping optimise inputs. This has the potential to support PepsiCo\u2019s regenerative agriculture and Scope 3 ambitions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seven-month-long 2026 program also has expanded network of partners across VC, agriculture, and innovation, with Artesian,\u00a0AgriFutures Australia,\u00a0AgFunder Asia, and\u00a0SAIL (Nanyang Technological University Singapore), joining returning partners\u00a0Circulate Capital,\u00a0GC Ventures, and\u00a0CM Venture Capital.<\/p>\n<p>\tGet the best of Startup Daily straight to your inbox<\/p>\n<p>\n                            Want to know the latest in startup news?
