This August, it\u2019s teaming up with pizza-oven pioneer<a target=\"_blank\" class=\"inline cursor-pointer border-b border-current pb-0 transition duration-100 hover:border-dotted\" href=\"https:\/\/www.broadsheet.com.au\/national\/food-and-drink\/article\/ooni-koda-2-pizza-oven\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Ooni<\/a> for a two-day pop-up celebrating the local launch of the brand\u2019s new Halo Core Spiral Mixer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 font-serif text-base text-left\">The collaboration leans on what both names do best: dough. Head baker and co-founder Franco Villalva has developed two specials exclusive to the weekend, each made using the mixer. There\u2019s the Frank, the bakery\u2019s famous focaccia romana piled with fresh burrata, hot honey, basil and prosciutto, hitting pillowy, salty, sweet and spicy notes all at once. And for the sweet tooth, the Pistachio Halo Cheesecake \u2013 a rich Basque-style number over a buttery shortbread base, finished with pistachio drizzle and roasted pistachios.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 font-serif text-base text-left\">The giveaway is limited: the first 100 people through the door from 9am each day will receive one of the two creations for free, along with a limited-edition co-branded bread bag. Everyone who visits across the weekend will also go into the draw to win one of three Ooni Halo Core stand mixers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 font-serif text-base text-left\">The activation also marks the Australian launch of Ooni\u2019s Halo Core, a compact spiral stand mixer designed for home bakers.
