South Australia Police attended a mine shaft in the state’s far north today after receiving reports of potential human remains, but have now confirmed there are none at the site.<\/p>\n

Earlier, police said a member of the public found “what they thought could be human remains in a mine shaft” at Andamooka, near the area where police have previously been searching for missing 41-year-old Trisha Graf.<\/p>\n

Ms Graf vanished after a night out of friends on Friday, December 12.<\/p>\n

In January, police declared the disappearance and suspected murder of the mother of two a major crime<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Major Crime officers pieced together a timeline of events, beginning when Ms Graf left a Roxby Downs hotel just after midnight, accompanied by a friend.<\/p>\n

Police said they travelled together to an Andamooka residence, colliding with a kangaroo on the way, and Ms Graf left the property alone and was last seen about 2am.<\/p>\n

At about midday, her white Ford Territory was found immobilised on a dirt mound near the Blue Dam, about 4 kilometres east of Andamooka.<\/p>\n

Police conducted multiple extensive ground and air searches, including draining the dam<\/a>, in the remote outback but they did not find a trace of Ms Graf.<\/p>\n
