Later on Saturday, Port Adelaide hosts the GWS Giants at the Adelaide Oval from 6:35pm before Carlton hosts the Brisbane Lions at Docklands from 7:40pm.<\/p>\n

There is also AFLW action as the star-studded Australia and Ireland sides face off at North Sydney Oval from 4:15pm (all times AEST).<\/p>\n

The siren sounds at Docklands, and an interesting quarter of footy ends with the Saints holding a nine-point lead after a late goal from Logan McDonald was answered with a brilliant snap from the left forward pocket from Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.<\/p>\n

The home side has been on top, and have had the better chances, so the Swans might still be happy to be this close right now.<\/p>\n

The intensity has gone right up late in the term, and we should be in for a ripping second term.<\/p>\n

The big issue is that James Rowbottom has been off the ground with what looks like a nasty hand injury.<\/p>\n

Of more importance is the fact that the last five games have all been decided by 14 points or less, with the last three having less than a kick in them. Another of those ones would be nice, thanks.<\/p>\n

The Sydney Swans may be favourites for today’s game, but coach Ross Lyon will be telling the Saints that this is their time.<\/p>\n

The Swans are second on the ladder, but they have looked vulnerable in recent weeks, losing three of their last five.<\/p>\n

The Saints on the other hand, have won three of their four games since the bye, and getting Rowan Marshall back for today is an important in.<\/p>\n

This is a big opportunity for St Kilda. If they can get the points here, and Brisbane can beat Carlton at Docklands tonight, the Saints would have a one-game gap plus percentage on the chasing pack for the last wild card spot.<\/p>\n
