A couple has allegedly been stabbed and another man was allegedly assaulted on their morning walks through Adelaide.<\/p>\n

CCTV footage obtained by Nine News allegedly showed a man armed with a homemade knife approach a couple, both aged 63, on Thompson Ave at Salisbury Downs about 7.25am on Friday.<\/p>\n

An armed man could allegedly be seen approaching the dog walkers waving a weapon before he slashed the pair.<\/p>\n

Another dog walker, 81, tried to intervene and told the man \u201cgo get out of the way,\u201d but was allegedly punched by the armed man.<\/p>\n

A police spokesman said the 63-year old man and woman were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and the 81-year-old man suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n

Nine News reported a news crew setting up for an interview on Thompson Ave was also approached by the armed man.<\/p>\n

A Salisbury Downs man, 29, was later tasered and arrested by police at a nearby petrol station on Salisbury Highway.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice received multiple reports from members of the public of a man armed with a sharp weapon,\u201d a spokesman said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNorthern District police immediately attended and confronted the suspect on Salisbury Highway. <\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers drew a firearm and deployed a Taser during the incident, safely arresting the man.\u201d<\/p>\n

The man has been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault causing harm, aggravated assault and affray.<\/p>\n

He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.<\/p>\n

Police urged anyone with information or footage to contact Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n
