nearly 80 arrests <\/a>relating to a website that had allegedly distributed 875 sets of cloned number plates to crooks across the city.<\/p>\nDetectives from Frankston began investigating those behind the website over a four-month period and made the significant arrests of two key players. <\/p>\n
A 38-year-old man accused of creating the 875 sets of plates was charged last year before a 32-year-old Carrum Downs man was last month accused of manufacturing \u201chigh-end cloned plates\u201d.<\/p>\n
Police accused him of selling those dodgy plates to fellow alleged criminals online. <\/p>\n
