Cbus Property has unveiled a new retail and dining precinct upgrade to its Brisbane riverfront offices as major milestones are reached at office projects across the eastern seaboard.<\/p>\n

The investor and developer is bringing a \u201ccurated collection\u201d of food and hospitality uses to its tower at 205 North Quay, which has 43,700sq m of net lettable area overlooking the Brisbane River.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Construction completed in 2024 on the 30-storey \u201cwellness-led\u201d tower launched in 2019.<\/a> Under the upgrade, four food and drink businesses will be introduced including cafe offerings Mavis and B\u00f6hl. Another, Herschel, has already open.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Restaurant Pozzo\u2019s\u2014named for long-standing former Cbus chief executive Adrian Pozzo\u2014focuses on Mediterranean dining, and a micro-market will also be introduced as a retail offering.<\/p>\n

Cbus Property chief executive Chris Kakoufas said the upgrades were the next chapter in the evolution of 205 North Quay as \u201ca destination that extends well beyond the workplace\u201d.<\/p>\n

After Herschel, the remaining concepts are expected to launch in July.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A little more than a kilometre away, Investa has opened 360 Queen Street, a \u201clandmark\u201d office tower delivered as a joint venture between ICPF and Charter Hall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Designed by Blight Rayner Architecture and built by Hutchinson Builders, the 37-story building was 95 per cent pre-committed at completion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cbus, meanwhile, is getting closer to the same milestone at its development at 435 Bourke Street tower in Melbourne.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The project topped out late last month and achieved practical completion for its first stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cbus broke ground on the $1-billion tower with demolition works in May 2022, while basement levels and other early works were under way in 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also an important moment for Melbourne, signalling continued investment in the CBD and the delivery of world-class workplaces that will help attract talent, businesses and activity back into the city centre,\u201d Kakoufas said.<\/p>\n

Anchor tenant the Commonwealth Bank of Australia began moving in this month.<\/p>\n

CBA will occupy approximately 19,000 square metres of office space across levels 1 to 11.<\/p>\n

Upon practical completion of the second stage later this year, 435 Bourke Street will deliver approximately 62,000sq m of office space across 48 levels.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It will also have 1300sq m of retail space, 117 car parks and a rooftop garden.<\/p>\n
