Voss mocking Petty by rubbing his head<\/a>, before the Fremantle star continued the sledging with a \u201ccry-baby\u201d gesture.<\/p>\nThis was in reference to a controversial moment in 2022 from Brisbane\u2019s Dayne Zorko which reduced Petty to tears.<\/p>\n
Voss received a $1500 fine from the AFL for the misconduct.<\/p>\n
But Petty had the final say after scoring for the Demons at the MCG \u2014 which capped a sensational performance.<\/p>\n
As he ran off celebrating, Petty rubbed his head in a direct response to Voss\u2019 taunt earlier in the season.<\/p>\n
And he was happy to explain his thought process when asked about it during the post-match interview.<\/p>\n
Petty said: \u201cThat was all spontaneous. I thought a cheeky little dig won\u2019t hurt.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I like the way he (Voss) goes about it. He\u2019s a competitor and I feel like I\u2019m a competitor too, so it\u2019s all fun and games in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n
Saints great and Fox Sports commentator Leigh Montagna loved the head pat, saying: \u201cThere\u2019s a little bit of a taunt of his own \u2014 straight back at ya\u2019, Patty Voss. That\u2019s gold… got to embrace it.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Demons captain Max Gawn added: \u201cHarry Petty, look, he\u2019s copped a lot of flak for a lot of years \u2014 there was a rumour we should have traded him for high draft picks.<\/p>\n

Jan Cattermole exclaimed: \u201cHarrison Petty \u2014 what a t****r!\u201d<\/p>\n
S \u2014 cama added: \u201cDoes he want to cry about it?!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
