Footage has revealed the moment a woman keyed a stranger\u2019s Tesla at a train station carpark in Brisbane\u2019s north. <\/p>\n

Footage from the electric vehicle\u2019s built-in security showed a woman approaching the car, which was parked at the carpark in Petrie Station about 9.40pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

As she walked past the black car with her hand in her bag, she stopped and appeared to scrape the side of the vehicle with a set of keys. <\/p>\n

Nine minutes after the incident, the car owner Lindsey returned to her car but didn\u2019t notice the damage until she viewed the security footage. <\/p>\n

Lindsey initially thought the woman had fallen down but said she was \u201cutterly shocked\u201d once she realised what happened. <\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t believe anyone would have the audacity to key anyone\u2019s property,\u201d she told 9News.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe actually thought she had fallen on the car, so I zoomed in and realised she was actually keying the car.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Brisbane woman was parked in a disability spot as she has children with special needs and said she had no idea why her car was targeted in the attack. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone\u2019s got their hypothesis \u2013 does she not like Teslas? Just why? Why would you do this?\u201d she asked. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Sunrise, Lindsey said she had \u201cnever crossed paths\u201d with the woman before.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was already parked when I arrived, and she\u2019d left by the time I got back, so I have no idea,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt just seems really quite random that she decided to key my car.\u201d<\/p>\n

The culprit appeared to be wearing a uniform for Suncorp Stadium, where the Brisbane Broncos and the Dolphins had faced off earlier that evening. <\/p>\n

Lindsey urged the Tesla attacker to come forward. <\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, the lady will come forward and I can submit the claim to her instead of the insurance company,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

Queensland Police told NewsWire they were investigating the report of \u201cwilful damage\u201d to the car and have encouraged anyone with information or footage to contact police. <\/p>\n
