Mr Rodden is being remembered as a talented musician and part of a family that is “deeply ingrained in life at Mount Buller”, according to an online fundraiser.<\/p>\n
He was a budding musician with a solo musical project called RiceWine.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his mother, Sally, father Cha and brother Jared.<\/p>\n
The family managed lodges on the mountain and ran retail shops in Mansfield and nearby Merrijig where they live.<\/p>\n
“At this incredibly difficult time, we want Sally, Cha and Jared to know that they are not alone,” the fundraising page reads.<\/p>\n
Mansfield Shire Council Mayor Steve Rabie said Mr Rodden’s death would be felt across the shire for some time.<\/p>\n

“Mansfield is a small and very close-knit community,” Cr Rabie said.<\/p>\n
“When something like this happens, the impact reaches well beyond those immediately involved and I know many people across our community have been deeply affected by this news.<\/p>\n
“Our thoughts are with the family and as a community, we stand with them.”<\/p>\n
Police said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death remained ongoing.<\/p>\n
