The City of Sydney had originally envisioned the square being a site for protests, something Moore acknowledged at a press conference Tuesday.<\/p>\n

ASPECT global design director Sacha Coles said: \u201cThe square has been designed with climate change in mind with 50 per cent of the site benefiting from the cover of trees.\u201d<\/p>\n

The project is expected to be completed by 2031, and City of Sydney is \u201cexploring\u201d an Aboriginal name for the project.<\/p>\n
