{"id":71476,"date":"2026-08-13T23:22:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T23:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/71476\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T23:22:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T23:22:09","slug":"woman-treated-for-minor-injuries-after-car-rolls-on-side-in-adelaides-cbd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/71476\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman treated for minor injuries after car rolls on side in Adelaide&#8217;s CBD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">A 52-year-old woman has been treated for minor injuries after the car she was driving collided with bollards and flipped onto its side in Adelaide&#8217;s CBD.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">SA Police said it was investigating the incident which happened on Thursday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It said officers were called to the single vehicle crash on Twin Street near Rundle Mall at about 6:15pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The driver, a 52-year-old woman from St Peters, was able to safely exit the car and was treated at the scene for minor injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Her Tesla vehicle was towed from the area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">The SA Metropolitian Fire Service confirmed eight firefighters attended the scene.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Firefighters used a disc cutter to remove the bollards, allowing the vehicle to be positioned safely and ensuring it posed no ongoing risk to the community before the arrival of a tow truck,&#8221;  a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">On Friday morning, 891 ABC Adelaide&#8217;s Troy Sincock was at the scene, where it appeared the bollards had been replaced. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He said the scene had been mostly cleared, but there were still some fragments of glass and plastic and a small strip of sand that appeared to be soaking up oil.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Three bollards, the middle one being damaged, on a small lane at night.\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/492160f71ab51610328a2fc8a3ff5588.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Police report that three bollards at the end of Twin Street were hit by a Tesla in a single-vehicle incident.
