Sydney FC has strengthened its attacking options with the signing of exciting, back-flipping Nigerian forward Oriola Sunday on a season long loan.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old impressed for Japanese club RB \u014cmiya when they won J3 League title in 2024 and established himself as a regular last season in J2 League finishing 6th.<\/p>\n

His 20 goals and 10 assists made Sunday one of Omiya\u2019s brightest young attacking talents and he excites the crowd with his impressive backflips after scoring.<\/p>\n

Sydney FC Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo believes the pacey striker will make an impact in Sky Blue.<\/p>\n

\u201cOriola is a young striker with tremendous pace, excellent movement and a real willingness to work for the team,\u201d Kisnorbo said.<\/p>\n

Sunday believes this is a great chance for him to go to the next level as a footballer and as a person.<\/p>\n
