Queen Adelaide, who lived from 1792 to 1849, was the wife of King William IV, while Maria Adelaide of Portugal provides another historical link.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Her middle name Elizabeth also pays tribute to Princess Eugenie\u2019s late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9czhig-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The inspiration behind Annina is understood to be more personal to Princess Eugenie and Jack, although the couple has not publicly revealed the connection.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/e6746b79026b0c2bf8d522028e3d721776fcf6ff.jpg\" alt=\"Princess Eugenie.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>Princess Eugenie.
