Credit: Dunes Beach Resort<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Alongside its guest stays, the site has a cafe\/restaurant named Sandara, which features alfresco dining areas, a lounge bar and function space capable of accommodating up to 240 patrons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The resort was privately funded and developed by Eco Tourism Pty Ltd, which will also operate the site under a long-term ground lease with the City of Wanneroo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">With practical completion now achieved, Eco Tourism director Russell Percival said the team was excited to welcome its first visitors through the doors ahead of spring.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cWe are proud to have designed and built this stunning resort and facilities that offers a place where locals and visitors can relax, connect with nature and enjoy everything this beautiful stretch of coastline has to offer,\u201d Mr Percival said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cWhether that\u2019s staying overnight, dining in our restaurant Sandara or listening to music in our Spin lounge bar or celebrating a special occasion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/61af0cc9631100a2ff6b264f8d4cef6241dd354f.jpg\" alt=\"One of the suites at Dunes Beach Resort in Mindarie, which is set to open this month.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconOne of the suites at Dunes Beach Resort in Mindarie, which is set to open this month. Credit: Supplied<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The land had sat largely vacant since the Quinns Rocks caravan park closed in 2014 before construction on the resort began in July 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The project was formally approved by the WA Planning Commission in September 2024, despite attracting some opposition from the local community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Wanneroo mayor Linda Aitken said the completion marked an exciting milestone for the city\u2019s visitor economy strategy and she was looking forward to seeing the resort \u201cbecome part of our vibrant coastal community\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cDunes Beach Resort adds a unique accommodation offering to our coastline while creating another place for locals and visitors to discover Wanneroo,\u201d Ms Aitken said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cIt complements the attractions already available in the Quinns Rocks and Mindarie area, supports local jobs and businesses and expands accommodation options in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/a774536fa32aa7165d36c88fd6f05a8d355cbfd4.jpg\" alt=\"The resort will provide accommodation for up to 86 guests across 38 glamping tents.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconThe resort will provide accommodation for up to 86 guests across 38 glamping tents.
