A man has been stabbed to death after an alleged dispute over tenancy in a South East Queensland home, with two people now charged with his murder. <\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to a house on Lubach St in Beenleigh about 4.45pm on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Paramedics attempted CPR on the man, who had stab wounds to his body, but he died at the scene.<\/p>\n

A man and a woman, both known to the deceased man, were believed to be in an altercation with the man before his death. <\/p>\n

Police allege the woman stabbed the 66-year-old man during the altercation. <\/p>\n

A 47-year-old Karalee man has since been charged with one count of murder. <\/p>\n

A 43-year-old Beenleigh woman was under police guard in hospital and has since been charged with murder, acts intended to maim\/disfigure\/disable and contravention of domestic violence order (aggravated offence).<\/p>\n

They will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

The Courier Mail reports the 66-year-old homeowner was stabbed following a tenancy dispute, allegedly leading to a violent interaction. <\/p>\n

Neighbours said the man had returned from work only to be locked out of his home by the two occupants, and he started kicking the door down. <\/p>\n

The man and woman inside allegedly set upon the man, smashing his head with dinner plates before he was stabbed. <\/p>\n

The female occupant allegedly began screaming for help, with neighbours rushing to the house and taking the knife off her. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe has come down yelling and screaming for help, (saying he\u2019s) just been stabbed, he is on the ground bleeding out,\u201d the neighbour said. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy mate was also at the scene, he has gone inside, grabbed her, threw her out of the way.\u201d <\/p>\n

A man allegedly tried to flee the scene but was chased down by two young males before being apprehended by police. <\/p>\n

The neighbour said the 66-year-old allegedly tried to tell the occupants to \u201cvacate the premises\u201d, but they \u201cwouldn\u2019t leave\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have come up, opened the gate and seen (the man) lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds in his lungs, multiple stab wounds in his back,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cTwo police officers then attended the scene and they\u2019ve rushed in, tried to help him, do CPR, tried to work on him, but then they lost him.\u201d <\/p>\n

The neighbour said the 66-year-old man was his friend of at least two decades, describing him as a brother. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sick, I tried to eat, I\u2019ve spewed up two times,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in shock, that\u2019s my mate. He was a fun, loving, caring guy, always down to earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe would help anyone, he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.\u201d <\/p>\n

Another neighbour said the victim was a \u201clovely bloke who didn\u2019t deserve it\u201d.<\/p>\n

Investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
