{"id":75686,"date":"2026-08-19T12:11:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T12:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/75686\/"},"modified":"2026-08-19T12:11:19","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T12:11:19","slug":"evette-wallington-tributes-pour-in-for-mum-of-three-killed-at-osborne-park-yard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/75686\/","title":{"rendered":"Evette Wallington: Tributes pour in for mum-of-three killed at Osborne Park yard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A hardworking mother of three girls has been identified as the 29-year-old woman killed in a \u201cfreak\u201d incident at Perth tow truck yard.<\/p>\n<p>Evette Wallington, 29, was unloading a car from a tow truck tilt tray when a fatal incident occurred about 5.40am on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services rushed to Auto Tow Services in Osborne Park, but Ms Wallington could not be saved and died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron Christmass created a GoFundMe for Ms Wallington\u2019s family to support them during this \u201ctough time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe lost this amazing woman to a freak accident,\u201d Mr Christmass said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWords cannot describe the pain and hurt we all are feeling at this time. She was amazing, hard working, amazing mother too her three beautiful daughters. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe will forever be missed and loved by many.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Friends paid tribute to Ms Wallington on social media, describing her as a much-loved partner, mother, friend and colleague.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are some tragedies that leave a whole community struggling to find the words,\u201d a person commented.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvette leaves behind her partner \u2026 and their children, who are now facing an unimaginable loss and a future without the person they love.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo words can take away the pain of losing Evette, and no amount of money can ever replace her, but we can come together and make sure. the family \u2026 have some support around them while they navigate the days, weeks and months ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WorkSafe investigators were at the business within hours of the incident occurring and were seen speaking with witnesses as they began examining the scene.<\/p>\n<p>A coroner\u2019s vehicle also entered the yard.<\/p>\n<p>WorkSafe Commissioner Sally North relayed her sincere condolences to the woman\u2019s family, friends and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorkSafe investigators thoroughly examine the circumstances of incidents with a view to ensuring compliance and preventing future incidents of a similar nature,\u201d a
