{"id":75800,"date":"2026-08-19T19:03:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T19:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/75800\/"},"modified":"2026-08-19T19:03:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T19:03:09","slug":"wolfsbane-award-winning-subiaco-distillery-has-plans-for-small-bar-and-event-space-on-hay-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/75800\/","title":{"rendered":"Wolfsbane: Award-winning Subiaco distillery has plans for small bar and event space on Hay Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The owners of an award-winning Subiaco distillery have plans for a \u201cluxe, elegant\u201d small bar on Hay Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Wolfsbane has been operating from its restored premises at the corner of Hay Street and Coghlan Road since last year, where they produce and sell gins, vodkas and a limoncello.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">In just 10 months, they won 28 international gold medals and most recently picked up gold and silver at The Spirits Business Global Gin Masters awards in London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The family owned business has applied for a tavern licence to create a small bar to sell their products, alongside a wider range of \u201ccocktail staples,\u201d \u201ccrowd favourite\u201d spirits, wine and beer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Distiller Gregor Robinson said in the application they wanted to welcome local residents and workers in the proposed bar, and also host a range of functions including art showings, sundowners and small musical performances.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/9eef5a188a11beb1697df8973655f715c70f9422.jpg\" alt=\"Wolfsbane operates from a restored premises on Hay Street in Subiaco.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconWolfsbane operates from a restored premises on Hay Street in Subiaco.
