A major redevelopment of Ballymore Stadium in Herston will deliver new high-performance sporting facilities and further transform the precinct into a major rugby and community sporting destination.<\/p>\n

The redevelopment will include a new high-performance training facility and the replacement of the Eastern Stand, with Ballymore set to become the permanent Queensland headquarters for Australia\u2019s Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Rugby Sevens programs and the Wallaroos.<\/p>\n

The precinct will also provide a Queensland base for the Wallabies when the team is in the state, with up to 90 Rugby Australia athletes and staff expected to relocate from New South Wales.<\/p>\n

The latest works form part of the ongoing transformation of Ballymore, following the approval of the broader Ballymore Masterplan in 2022.
