Brisbane Roar have re-signed young forward Grace Kuilamu ahead of the 2026\/27 Ninja A-League season.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old returns to the Roar as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury which cut short her 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n

Widely regarded as one Australia\u2019s brightest young talents, Kuilamu made history on her Ninja A-League debut in 2023 when she became the youngest goalscorer in competition history.<\/p>\n

She has since established herself as one of the Roar\u2019s most promising attacking players, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances for the club.<\/p>\n

New Roar head coach Johnathan Clemente said Kuilamu\u2019s re-signing reflected the club\u2019s commitment to developing homegrown talent.<\/p>\n

Kuilamu\u2019s return comes at a time of significant change for Brisbane, who finished third in the 2025\/26 Ninja A-League season before their campaign ended with a Semi-Final defeat to Wellington Phoenix.<\/p>\n

The Roar confirmed the departures of five first-team players earlier this week, with Kiera Meyers, Aimee Medwin, Alicia Woods, Marianna Seidl and Ashlyn Miller all leaving the club.<\/p>\n

Meyers and Medwin joined Brisbane ahead of last season and featured regularly, while Seidl made 18 appearances after arriving from Czech champions SK Slavia Praha before subsequently joining Spanish side SD Eibar.<\/p>\n

American defender Miller, who started the majority of Brisbane\u2019s matches last season, has signed with Brooklyn FC in the United States.<\/p>\n

Woods, meanwhile, departs after three seasons with the Roar having progressed through the Queensland pathway and established herself as a regular in Brisbane\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

With Clemente now at the helm, Kuilamu is among the young Queensland talent the Roar will look to build around as they reshape their squad for the new campaign.<\/p>\n

Brisbane will begin their 2026\/27 Ninja A-League campaign at home against Central Coast Mariners on Saturday, October 17.<\/p>\n
