A fresh allegation has emerged from one of the women at the centre of the sexual assault investigation which has rocked the Sydney Swans.<\/p>\n
A new claim involving “multiple sexual assaults” has been made in relation to one woman, who is represented by Jackson Pannam of Slater and Gordon, The Age reports<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Two other women, represented by Carbone Lawyers, have also alleged to police that they were subjected to conduct of a sexual nature beyond what was agreed to, according to the publication.\u00a0<\/p>\n In a statement issued on the weekend, Mr Pannam said his client’s entire world had been “turned upside down” in the wake of the events<\/a> and he had been engaged to explore a potential civil claim.<\/p>\n Similarly, Carbone Lawyers said it was investigating civil proceedings against the club, and possibly the players alleged to be involved, on behalf of its clients.<\/p>\n The five players at the centre of the controversy<\/a> are Isaac Heeney, Nick Blakey, Chad Warner, Riley Bice and James Jordon.<\/p>\n The Swans have ruled them out for the rest of the season after determining their behaviour following the club\u2019s round-23 win over Essendon had breached its standards.<\/p>\n Victoria Police are continuing to investigate an alleged sexual assault at the Pullman East Melbourne hotel in the early hours of August 17.<\/p>\n It has been alleged that the players hired adult entertainers to the hotel room.\u00a0<\/p>\n It is understood that an audio recording relating to the alleged events at the hotel has been handed to detectives, according to The Age.<\/p>\n News24.com.au is not suggesting any of the players have committed a criminal offence.<\/p>\n Police have previously said no one has been arrested or formally interviewed in relation to the alleged sexual assault.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Swans have apologised to the wider football community over the incident.<\/p>\n Chairman\u00a0Andrew Pridham and chief executive Matthew Pavlich said the club understood the distress caused to supporters, staff, partners,\u00a0families\u00a0and the women involved.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAll women deserve to feel safe and respected,\u201d the club previously said.\u00a0<\/p>\n On Sunday, many Swans fans walked out of the SCG before the men\u2019s final home game of the regular season<\/a> as the embattled club continues to deal with the fallout.<\/p>\n Hundreds of supporters left the ground after the Swans\u2019 AFLW side defeated Essendon by 24 points on Sunday.<\/p>\n The walkout came during a historic double-header at the SCG, with Sydney\u2019s women playing before the men faced North Melbourne.<\/p>\n Read related topics:Sydney
