{"id":80407,"date":"2026-08-26T01:47:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T01:47:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/80407\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T01:47:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T01:47:07","slug":"sydney-sweeney-straps-herself-to-plane-taunts-tom-cruise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/australia\/80407\/","title":{"rendered":"Sydney Sweeney straps herself to plane, taunts Tom Cruise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sydney Sweeney is telling Tom Cruise to \u201cwatch out\u201d after she strapped herself to the top of an airplane.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Sweeney <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DcbXHY9R2RP\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">uploaded a video of herself<\/a> holding a GoPro camera and on top of a moving airplane. <\/p>\n<p>The Euphoria star showed the single-engine plane flipping upside down several times while she was attached to it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cwatch out tom cruise,\u201d Sweeney captioned the post.<\/p>\n<p>MORE: <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realestate.com.au\/news\/sydney-sweeney-exfiance-jonathan-davinos-10m-home-remains-empty-after-spilt\/?campaignType=external&amp;campaignChannel=syndication&amp;campaignName=ncacont&amp;campaignContent=&amp;campaignSource=newscomau&amp;campaignPlacement=article\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"www.realestate.com.au\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sweeney-Davino split exposes $10m dud deal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sweeney was in casual leggings and a navy crew neck, with her hair styled in pigtail braids as she remained calm during the airplane\u2019s crazy manoeuvres.<\/p>\n<p>After making a joke to Cruise, one of Hollywood\u2019s most famous stuntmen, the official Top Gun Instagram account commented on Sweeney\u2019s Instagram post: \u201cFeel the need for speed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/content.api.news\/v3\/images\/bin\/aa89129cca0beede645d3a8cab60b076\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"Brad Pitt\u2019s questionable hygiene habits\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Just a few days prior to sharing the video, Sweeney shed some light into her summer, which has mostly been spent with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun.<\/p>\n<p>Sweeney <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DcWHhgfG_RM\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">took to Instagram<\/a> on Sunday and captioned her post, \u201cCamp \u201826,\u201d alongside a superhero emoji.<\/p>\n<p>Sweeney channelled iconic Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter as she and Braun turned a lakeside escape into a superhero-themed affair. <\/p>\n<p>The Instagram carousel offered a peek at the couple\u2019s summer getaway, with Sweeney posing in a Wonder Woman-inspired corset costume and co-ordinating headband alongside Braun in his Superman get-up.<\/p>\n<p>In one video, Sweeney, 28, balanced on an inflatable water obstacle course as Braun, 45, rode a jet ski nearby. Other snapshots showed the couple swimming, soaking up the sun and singing karaoke.<\/p>\n<p>Sweeney and Braun first sparked romance rumours in 2025 after reportedly first meeting at Jeff Bezos and Lauren S\u00e1nchez\u2019s wedding. <\/p>\n<p>Sweeney confirmed their relationship in April 2026 by sharing a photo of Braun embracing her on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>This article originally appeared in <a
